1. Who you're dealing with

ToolRecipe is run by the operator named in the legal notice (“we”). These terms apply when you use the site, with or without an account.

2. The tools

ToolRecipe offers small tools that run in your browser. You can use them for free and without an account, up to a daily number of saves. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

The tools work on your device, so we never see your files and can't recover them. Keep your own copies of anything that matters. Check results before relying on them, above all calculations (money, health, units) and converted documents. The calculators give estimates, not financial, medical or legal advice.

3. Your account

An account is free. You need a working email address, and you must be at least 16 years old or have your parent's or guardian's consent. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in. You can stop using your account and ask us to delete it at any time (see the privacy policy).

4. Pro

Pro is not on sale yet. Before it is, this section will set out the price, how billing and cancelling work, and your 14-day right of withdrawal as a consumer in the EU.

5. Fair use

Don't use ToolRecipe to break the law or other people's rights, for example by sending files you aren't allowed to share with “Send files”. Don't attack, overload or scrape the service, or get around its limits. We may suspend an account that does this. We tell you why, unless the law stops us.

6. Your content

Your files and results stay yours. We claim no rights in them, and we never receive them.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep ToolRecipe running but can't promise it's always available or free of errors. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable where the law doesn't allow this to be excluded. Your rights as a consumer under mandatory law, such as the statutory warranty for paid services, are not affected.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version appears here with a new date. If you have an account, we tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that matters to you takes effect. You can close your account before then.

9. Law

Austrian law applies, without its conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can go to court there.
