Fit relationship photos into one PDF under the limit

For a visa or sponsorship application: turn the photos into JPGs, shrink each one first so the PDF stays sharp, put several on a page, and bring the PDF under the portal's limit.

The steps

  1. Turn them into JPG. iPhone photos become JPGs that open everywhere. Save them and go on.
  2. Shrink each photo first. For example 300 KB each. Shrinking photos before the PDF keeps faces sharp.
  3. Put several on a page. Four photos per page, in the order you set. Save the PDF.
  4. Get under the size limit. Set the size the portal allows and save the final pack.
