Sign a PDF online and save it as a normal PDF. The signature pad opens as soon as your file is in: draw with a mouse or finger, type your name or upload a scan, then click where it goes. Free, with no upload.

How to sign a PDF online

What happens to your files

What you can do

  • Draw a signature in blue or black ink, type it in a script font or upload a photo.
  • Click the page to place it, drag it, resize it by its corner or move it with the arrow keys.
  • Sign every page that needs it: go to the next page and place the signature again.
  • Use "Sign here" next to a signature field in a form to fit it into the field.
  • Add a date, ticks or text next to your signature in the same session.
  • Fill in the form fields of the same PDF before you sign.

Good to know

  • The signature is an image of your name. It is not a certificate based digital signature that proves who signed.
  • The signature is kept in memory while the tab is open and is gone after you close it.
  • The saved file is called like the original with -filled added.
  • A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first.

Does it work for contracts?
