Fill & sign PDF

Fill in a PDF form, add text, dates, ticks and your signature, then save it. It works for forms with fillable fields and for flat ones where you place everything by hand. Free, online, and nothing is uploaded.

How to fill in and sign a PDF

  1. 1Drop your PDF in, or click to choose it
  2. 2Fill the fields, or pick Text, Date, Tick or Signature
  3. 3Click the page to place it, then press Save PDF
  4. A filled and signed PDF, with Flatten if you ticked it.

What happens to your files

  • Nothing is uploaded.Your PDF is opened and changed by your browser, on your own device.
  • The form stays on your device.Forms often hold ID numbers and addresses, and none of it is sent anywhere.
  • Signature only in memory. It is never saved or uploaded, and it is gone when you close the tab.

What you can do

  • Fill real form fields in a list beside the page: text, tick boxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists and choice lists.
  • Click a field on the page to jump to it in the list, or use the page button next to a field.
  • Place free text, today's date in one of five formats, ticks and crosses anywhere on any page.
  • Draw, type or upload a signature and drop it on the page or into a signature field.
  • Tick Flatten to burn the fields into the page so they cannot be changed afterwards.
  • Fill many copies at once from a CSV or Excel sheet, as a ZIP.

Good to know

  • The signature is an image of your name, not a certificate based digital signature.
  • Text is written in Helvetica. Letters outside Western European alphabets become a question mark and a note tells you.
  • Read-only fields are shown but cannot be changed, and a field's maximum length is respected.
  • A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first.
  • The saved file is named like the original with -filled added.
