Merge PDF
Combine several PDFs into one file, in the order you want. You can mix in images and text files and move single pages around. Nothing is uploaded: the merging happens in your browser.
How to merge PDF files
- 1Drop your PDFs in, or click to choose them
- 2Drag the pages into the order you want
- 3Type a file name and save
- One PDF, every page in your order.
What happens to your files
- Nothing is uploaded.Your PDFs are read and merged by your browser, on your own device.
- Pages stay as they are.Text stays text, and nothing is recompressed.
- Works offline.Once the tool has been opened, it needs no connection.
What you can do
- Join any number of PDFs into one document.
- Drag pages into a new order. Every PDF is split into its pages, so a page from one file can go between two pages of another.
- Add images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG and more) and text files as extra pages.
- Rotate, duplicate or remove single pages before you save.
- Choose page size, orientation and margin for pages made from images, and put up to nine images on one page.
Good to know
- A password-protected PDF is skipped. Unlock it first, then add it again.
- ToolRecipe sets no page or file limit. Very large files are limited only by the memory of your device.
- The page has no upload, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.
Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The files are read and merged by your browser on your own device. They are never sent to us or anyone else.
Does merging lower the quality?
No. Pages from a PDF are copied unchanged. Only images you add can be made smaller, and only if you choose "Smaller file".
Can I combine a PDF with photos or scans?
Yes. Drop images in with your PDFs. Each image becomes a page, or several images share one page.
Can I change the order of single pages?
Yes. Every page shows as its own card. Drag a card to where the page should go, even between the pages of another file.
