N-up PDF

Put several PDF pages on one sheet, free and online: 2, 4, 6 or 9 per page for handouts and slides. A special mode places an ID card's front and back on one page at its real size. Nothing is uploaded.

How to put multiple pages on one sheet

What happens to your files

  • Nothing is uploaded.Your PDF is opened and rebuilt by your browser, on your own device.
  • Text stays selectable.The pages are placed on the sheet, not turned into pictures.
  • Works offline.Once the tool has been opened, it needs no connection.

What you can do

  • Fit 2, 4, 6 or 9 pages on one sheet to save paper when you print handouts, slides or drafts.
  • Choose A4 or Letter paper. Sheets with 2 or 6 pages turn to landscape so the pages stay large and upright.
  • Pick "ID card, front and back" to print both sides of a card on one page at 85.6 by 54 mm, its real size. Page 1 becomes the front and page 2 the back.
  • Undo the result if the layout is not what you wanted, and the original pages come back.

Good to know

  • Every page of the document goes onto the sheets, in order. To use only some pages, first remove the others.
  • Each page is scaled to fit its place, so a sheet with 9 pages has small text.
  • For an ID card, scan or photograph both sides, save them as a two-page PDF and use that. The sheet holds one card.

Questions

How do I print 2 pages on one sheet from a PDF?

Open the PDF, choose Several per sheet, set 2 as pages per sheet, click Make sheets and save the new PDF.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The file is read and rebuilt by your browser on your own device. It is never sent to us or anyone else.

How do I copy an ID card on one page?

Use a PDF with the front on page 1 and the back on page 2, pick "ID card, front and back" and click Make sheets. Both sides land on one page at real size.

Can I change the paper size?

Yes, choose A4 or Letter under Paper size before you click Make sheets.
