Images to PDF, several per page

Lay out several images on each page of a PDF, for example 4 per page for a contact sheet or 9 for a photo overview. Pick the number per page, set the page size and margin, and save one PDF. Free, online, and your pictures stay in your browser.

How to put several images on one PDF page

What happens to your files

  • Nothing is uploaded.Your images are placed and the PDF is written by your browser, on your own device.
  • A tidy grid.Images are placed in rows and columns with a small gap, each one fitted to its cell without stretching.
  • Four per page to start.The tool begins with 4 per page. Change it to 1, 2, 3, 6 or 9 at any time.

What you can do

  • Put 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 9 images on every page. 2 and 3 stack in a column, 4 make two by two, 6 make two columns by three rows and 9 make three by three.
  • Change the number after adding the images and the pages are laid out again right away.
  • Choose "Page size" (A4, A5, A3, US Letter, US Legal), "Orientation" and "Margin" (none, 5, 10 or 20 mm).
  • Move a page with the arrows or by dragging, rotate it, or open "Place" to move and resize the images on it by hand.
  • "Image quality" can stay on "Original" or be set to "Smaller file" for a lighter PDF.

Good to know

  • Images keep their proportions and are fitted into their cell, so a tall picture in a wide cell leaves empty space beside it.
  • The tool adds no captions, file names or page numbers, so it is a plain grid and not a full contact-sheet maker.
  • Images fill the pages in the order you added them. The last page can have fewer images.
  • Photos can also be added as PDF or text files. Those are placed as normal pages and are not put in the grid.

Questions

How do I put 4 pictures on one PDF page?

Add the pictures. The default is 4 per page, in two rows of two. Click "Create PDF" to save it.

Can I put 6 or 9 photos on a page?

Yes. Pick 6 or 9 under "Images". The layout changes at once, and you can still adjust single images with "Place".

Does it make a contact sheet?

It makes the grid of pictures. It does not print file names or numbers under them.

Do my photos leave my computer?

No. The PDF is written in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
