MSG to PDF
Convert MSG to PDF in your browser. Add an email file and get a PDF with the sender, the recipients, the date, the subject, the text and the pictures of the mail. The attachments are listed in the PDF and you can save them one by one. Nothing is uploaded.
How to convert MSG to PDF
- 1Drop your MSG file in, or click to choose it
- 2Choose whether the attachments go inside the PDF too
- 3Click "Make PDF" and save the PDF
- The mail as a PDF, and its attachments as files
What happens to your files
- Nothing is uploaded. The mail is read by your browser on your own device, so private letters and contracts stay with you
- Nobody is told.Pictures that sit on the internet are not loaded, so the sender can't see that you opened the mail
- No mail program needed. You need neither Outlook nor Thunderbird nor Apple Mail to turn MSG into PDF
What you can do
- Turn one mail or many at once into PDFs, one PDF for each mail
- Keep the pictures that travel inside the mail, the formatting of HTML mails and the quoted replies of a thread
- Save each attachment on its own, all of them as a ZIP, or put them inside the PDF
- Get the mails attached to a mail on pages of their own in the same PDF
Good to know
- Outlook's own file, made by Save as or by dragging a mail out of Outlook for Windows. Templates (.oft) are read the same way
- A PDF looks the same on every device and is what courts, offices and archives ask for when a mail has to be kept or handed in
- The tool tells the kind of file from what is inside it, so a file with a wrong or missing extension still works
- Pictures on the internet are left out and counted in a note at the top of the PDF
Questions
Is my email uploaded to a server?
No. The file is read and turned into a PDF by your browser, on your own device. It is never sent to us or anyone else.
Are the attachments in the PDF?
Their names and sizes are listed under the subject. You can save them as files, or tick the box to put them inside the PDF as well.
Can I convert MSG to PDF without Outlook?
Yes. You need no mail program: the email is read right here in your browser.
Why are some pictures missing?
Pictures that a mail only links to sit on a server on the internet. Loading them would tell the sender that you opened the mail, so they are left out.
