Questions
Are my values sent to a server?
No. The calculation runs in your browser, on your own device. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.
How do I convert Kilowatts to horsepower?
Type your value in the “Value” field. The result appears at once, for example 10 kilowatts = 13.4102 horsepower. “Swap” turns the conversion around.
Is this PS or hp?
It is mechanical horsepower (hp), 745.7 watts. Metric PS, pk or CV is 735.5 watts, so a PS value converted here comes out about 1.4% too high in kW.
