Repair and hollow a model for resin printing

A solid model wastes resin. Repair it, hollow it with the wall you choose, and see how much resin is left to pay for.

The steps

  1. Repair the mesh. Holes and flipped faces are fixed so a slicer accepts the model. Save it.
  2. Hollow it out. Pick the wall thickness and save the hollow model.
  3. See what it takes. Volume, weight and cost for the material and infill you choose.
