What you can do

  • Choose "Classic (text on image)": white text with a black outline, top and bottom.
  • Choose "Caption bar on top": a white bar above the picture with the text in black.
  • Choose "Two panels": two images stacked, each with its own text. A second drop area appears for the bottom image.
  • Change the text size, the text color, and switch "ALL CAPS" on or off.
  • Drag the text on the picture to move it, and use "Reset text position" to put it back. Dragging works in the classic and two-panel layouts.

Good to know

  • The picture is scaled to between 500 and 1200 pixels wide, so a huge photo comes out smaller.
  • The file is saved as meme.png.
  • Long text wraps onto more lines instead of running off the edge.
  • The caption bar joins the top and bottom text into one block.

Questions

How do I make a meme from my own photo?

Drop the photo in, type the top and bottom text and press "Download PNG". The first text goes on top, the second at the bottom.

Can I move the text?

Yes. Drag it on the picture. "Reset text position" puts it back.

Can I make a two-image meme?

Yes. Choose "Two panels", add a second image in the drop area that appears, and give each panel its text.

Is my image uploaded?

No. It is drawn and saved in your browser.
