Use one tool

Split a model into its parts and make each one printable

A file with several loose parts in it: get each as its own STL, repair them, and see what each print will take.

The steps

  1. Split it into its parts. Every loose part becomes its own file. Save them.
  2. Repair the mesh. Holes and flipped faces are fixed so a slicer accepts the model. Save it.
  3. See what it takes. Volume, weight and cost for the material and infill you choose.

One printable STL per part.
