GLB viewer
Open a GLB file in your browser and look at it from every side. GLB is the single-file form of glTF, so the geometry, materials and textures arrive together. See triangles, size and animations without installing anything. Nothing is uploaded.
How to view a GLB file online
- 1Drop the GLB file in, or click to choose it
- 2Drag to turn the model, scroll to zoom
- 3Read the facts: triangles, materials, size
- The model on screen, with its facts.
What happens to your files
- Nothing is uploaded.Your GLB model is read by your browser, on your own device.
- One file is enough.A GLB carries its textures and animations inside, so there is nothing to drop with it.
- Facts at a glance.Meshes, triangles, vertices, materials, textures and size, listed next to the model.
What you can do
- Turn, zoom and move around the model with the mouse or your finger. Fit puts it back in the middle.
- Switch on Wireframe to see the triangles, or Grid to judge scale.
- Read the counts: meshes, triangles, vertices, materials and textures. Skinned meshes are listed when the model has a skeleton.
- Play each animation in the file and see how long it runs.
- Open GLBs that are compressed with Draco or meshopt, or that use KTX2 textures.
Good to know
- A GLB has no external files, so a model that looks bare has no textures in it.
- The size is shown in metres, centimetres or millimetres, plus the same in inches. glTF counts in metres.
- If the file is broken, you get a message instead of a blank view.
Questions
Is my GLB file uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the file on your own device. It is never sent to us or anyone else.
Can I see the animations in a GLB?
Yes. Every animation in the file gets a button with its length. Press it to play, press it again to stop.
What is the difference between GLB and glTF?
GLB packs everything into one binary file. A glTF is a text file that points to a .bin file and image files next to it.
Can I try it without a model of my own?
Yes. Pick one of the example models on the start card.
