- 3Wait for the countdown, if you set one
- 4Press "Download PNG"
- One PNG of what you shared, saved on your device.
What you get
- Nothing is uploaded. The picture is taken and saved by your browser on your own device.
- One frame, then it stops.Sharing ends right after the picture, so nothing keeps recording.
- Full size. The PNG has the same pixel size as the screen or window you picked.
What you can do
- Capture a whole screen, one window or one browser tab. Your browser asks which one.
- Set a delay of 3, 5 or 10 seconds, so you can open a menu or switch windows first. The tool counts down.
- See the picture on the page and its size in pixels before you save it.
- Download it as a PNG named with the date and time.
Good to know
- The tool needs a browser that can share the screen. Phones cannot do this in a web page, so use the phone's own screenshot buttons there.
- If you close the share dialog without choosing anything, no picture is made. Press the button again.
- Only what the browser lets you share is captured. Audio is not recorded.
Questions
Is my screenshot uploaded?
No. The browser takes one frame and the tool turns it into a PNG on your device.
Can I capture a menu that closes when I click away?
Yes. Choose a delay, pick what to share, then open the menu while the countdown runs.
Why does it not work on my phone?
Phone browsers do not let a web page capture the screen. Use the buttons on the phone.
What format is the picture?
PNG. To make it smaller or change the format, use an image converter afterwards.
