Questions

How do I calculate my BMI?

BMI is your weight in kilograms divided by your height in meters squared. The calculator does that for you, also from pounds, feet and inches.

What is a healthy BMI?

The WHO treats 18.5 up to 25 as the healthy range for adults. The tool also shows what that means in kilos or pounds at your height.

What is BMI Prime?

It is your BMI divided by 25. A value of 1.0 is the top of the healthy range, and below 1.0 is under it.

Is the BMI calculator free, and is my data kept?

It is free and needs no sign-up. Your numbers are worked out in your browser and are not sent to us.
