What happens to your files

What you can do
- Blend the edges so the left side continues the right and the top continues the bottom.
- Set the blend width from 5 to 50 percent of the picture. The default is 25.
- Compare the picture repeated 3 × 3 before and after.
- Read the edge mismatch before and after, where 0 means no visible seam.
- Use it for wood, stone, fabric, grass and other surfaces for games and 3D.
Good to know
- The tool blends the middle of the picture to hide the seam. A busy picture with strong shapes can show a faint ghosting there.
- A wider blend hides seams better but softens more of the picture.
- Pictures larger than 8192 pixels on a side are scaled down to 8192.
Questions
How do I make a texture seamless?
Drop the picture in. The tool shifts it by half and blends the old edges away. Check the 3 × 3 preview and widen the blend if you still see a line.
How do I know it tiles well?
Look at the 3 × 3 preview, and at the edge mismatch score. A lower number after means the edges meet better.
Does it work for photos?
Yes, especially for even surfaces such as grass, sand or concrete. Pictures with one obvious object in the middle tile badly.
Is my picture uploaded?
No. It is processed in your browser on your own device.
