Merge 3D models

Merge several 3D models into one GLB file. Drop in GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY or FBX files and keep their places or line them up side by side. You see each model's triangle count and the total. Free, in your browser.

How to merge 3D models into one GLB

  1. 1Drop two or more 3D models in, or click to choose
  2. 2Keep their positions or put them side by side
  3. 3Check the table and preview, then save merged.glb
  4. One GLB called merged.glb with every model in it.

What happens to your files

  • Nothing is uploaded. The models are read and joined by your browser, on your own device.
  • Mixed formats are fine.A GLB, an OBJ and an STL can go into the same file.
  • Each model stays its own node.Every model gets a node named after its file.

What you can do

  • Combine two or more models from GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY and FBX into a single GLB.
  • Keep the positions the models already have, or place them side by side along the X axis with a gap between them.
  • See each model's meshes, triangles and materials in a table, with the totals for the merged file.
  • Check the result in a 3D preview, then compare the file size with the sum of your original files.

Good to know

  • The tool needs at least two models. With one, it asks you to add another.
  • Models are not rescaled. If one is in millimetres and another in metres, scale it first so they fit.
  • A glTF with separate files needs its .bin and textures dropped together with it.

Questions

How do I combine two 3D models into one file?

Drop both in, pick whether they stay where they are or go side by side, and save merged.glb.

Can I merge an OBJ and an STL?

Yes. Different formats can go in together. The result is one GLB.

Why do my models overlap?

With "Keep their positions" each model stays where its file put it. Choose "Side by side" to line them up.

Is my model uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device.
