Remove extra spaces from text: runs of spaces and tabs collapse to a single space, and spaces at the start and end of every line disappear. Good for text copied from PDFs, emails and websites. It runs in your browser.
How to remove extra spaces from text

Good to know
- Indentation is removed too, because leading spaces on a line are trimmed.

Questions
How do I remove double spaces from text?
Paste the text into the Input box. Every run of spaces becomes one space in the Result box. Copy it from there.
Does it remove spaces at the start of a line?
Yes. Spaces and tabs at the start and the end of each line are removed.
Will it join my lines together?
No. Line breaks stay where they are. To join lines use "Remove line breaks".
Is my text sent to a server?
No. It is processed in your browser on your own device.
