Convert to Train-Case
Convert text to Train-Case: every word capitalized and joined with hyphens, like Content-Type or User-First-Name. It is the style of HTTP header names. Paste your words, copy the result. Free, in your browser.
How to convert text to Train-Case
- 1Paste or type your words, one phrase per line
- 2Read the Train-Case result below
- 3Copy it with the copy button
- Capitalized words joined with hyphens.
What you get
- One result per line. Each input line is converted on its own, so a whole list works.
- Runs as you type. The output updates with every key, no button needed.
- Nothing is uploaded.Your text is converted in your browser and never sent anywhere.
What you can do
- Capitalizes the first letter of each word, lowercases the rest and joins the words with hyphens: "x request id" becomes X-Request-Id.
- Converts each line separately, so you can prepare a whole list of header names.
- Keeps digits and letters of any alphabet.
Good to know
- Words are found by splitting on anything that is not a letter or digit, so punctuation is dropped. A name that already has capitals, like myVariable, is not split at them.
- Acronyms lose their capitals: "etag" or "DNT" turn into Etag and Dnt, so fix such names by hand if needed.
