Convert to PascalCase
Convert text to PascalCase: every word starts with a capital and there are no spaces, like UserFirstName. Used for class and type names. Paste your words and copy the result. Free, in your browser, no upload.
How to convert text to PascalCase
- 1Paste or type your words, one phrase per line
- 2Read the PascalCase result below
- 3Copy it with the copy button
- Capitalized words joined without spaces.
What you get
- One result per line. Each input line is converted on its own, so a whole list works.
- Runs as you type. The output updates with every key, no button needed.
- Nothing is uploaded.Your text is converted in your browser and never sent anywhere.
What you can do
- Capitalizes the first letter of every word and lowercases the rest, then joins them: "shopping cart item" becomes ShoppingCartItem.
- Converts each line on its own, handy for turning a list of labels into class names.
- Keeps digits and letters of any alphabet.
Good to know
- Words are found by splitting on anything that is not a letter or digit, so punctuation is dropped. A name that already has capitals, like myVariable, is not split at them.
- Letters inside a word are lowercased, so an acronym such as HTTP becomes Http.
Questions
What is PascalCase?
Like camelCase, but the first word starts with a capital too: UserName instead of userName. It is also called UpperCamelCase.
Where is PascalCase used?
For class names, types and components in C#, Java, TypeScript and React.
Why did my acronym turn into lowercase letters?
Every word is written with one leading capital and the rest small, so URL becomes Url.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser on your device. Your text is not uploaded or stored.
