Questions
What is an anagram?
A word made by putting the letters of another word in a new order, each letter used once. Listen and silent are anagrams of each other.
How do I use a blank tile?
Type a ? for it. The solver tries every letter in that spot, and the result shows which letter the ? became.
Why is a word I know missing?
The list is SCOWL, a spelling list of about 65,000 common English words. It leaves out names, abbreviations and some rare words that game dictionaries include.
Is this the official Scrabble dictionary?
No. It is an open spelling list. A word you find here may not be allowed in a tournament, and some allowed words are not in it.
